Who are we?
Let S.A. is a private company that has a division totally dedicated to the creation of limited edition illustrated books.
Two friends (Dos Amigos), passionate readers and book lovers, with a particular inclination towards special editions, illustrated, limited, made with the utmost quality and care in their design, choice of paper and of course illustration and typography.

Words that reflect the spirit that guided Samuel César Palui, master of the graphic art, who together with Ernesto Lowenstein, deserve the credit for Ediciones Dos Amigos.
These books hors comerce reveal the care devoted by the creator and his team to each and every detail: the selection of titles, combined with the illustrators that best grasp the content; the selection of paper and ink; the editorial design and the hand composed typography, with the same movable types used by Gutenberg and the master printers of the Renaissance.
Ediciones Dos Amigos is pleased to present in this catalogue illustrated books and plaquettes that represent its editorial production, including works made before the creation of the present seal.
An editorial current that surfaced in Paris towards the end of last century gave birth to printed work with an emphasis more on art than on craft.
The editors Edouard Pelletan, Ambroise, Vollard, Tériade, Maeght, among others, produced a large collection of works that stand out because of their harmonious adaptation of the formal aspects with the literary content. The choice of the best known artists of that era- like Edouard Manet, Henri Matisse, Joan Miró, Pablo Picasso, Max Ernst, Salvador Dalí- was fundamental for the high valued achieved by these books at the present time.
